S. Agnes Henry

S. Agnes Henry, lovingly known as Aggie, passed away Jan. 1, 2026 surrounded by her family.

She was born Oct. 23, 1937 in Belleville. As an only child, she was blessed to grow up surrounded by many cousins whose company she cherished. At age 10 her family moved to Walnut where she was embraced by great friends and even more cousins, creating memories she carried fondly throughout her life.

S. Agnes married life brough her two beloved sons, with whom she created countless enduring memories. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, adored by all who knew her. She loved visiting, talking and sharing stories. Her kind and loving heart touched everyone she called a friend.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Hazel and Hazel Whitesel, her devoted husband, Donald S. Henry and her beloved sons, Mark A. Henry and Michael B. Henry.

She is survived by her daughters-in-law, Patty Henry and Trudy Henry Oberlin, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering love for family and the friendships that enriched the journey. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Viewing will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026 at Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026 at the funeral home. Interment is private and will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery, Nook.
