Raymond E. Yoder Sr.

Born April 15, 1943, in Reedsville, Pa., the son of the late David T. and Elsie (Kurtz) Yoder.

Surviving is his wife, Linda A. (Peachey) Yoder; his children Mrs. Nevin (Catherine) Miller, of land, Maine, Mrs. John Lee (Verna) Stoltzfus, of New Holland, Pa., Mrs. Jesse (Mary Ann) Hostetler, of Belleville, Pa., Timothy R. (Lydiann) Yoder, of Belleville, Pa., Melvin L. (Rhonda) Yoder, of Corinna, Maine, Mrs. James (Phebe) Brubaker, of Munnsville, N.Y, , Raymond E., Jr. (Alina) Yoder, of Minerva, Ohio, Sanford L.(Juanita) Yoder, of Fresno, Ohio, Enos S. (Gretchen) Yoder, of Adams, N.Y.

Also surviving are 48 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. His brother, Harvey (Nancy) Yoder, of Belleville, Pa.; sisters Mrs. Ray (Mary) Beachy, Mrs. Lester (Barbara Beachy, both of Liberty, Ky., Mrs. David (Rhoda) Yoder, of Mayfield, Ky.

He as preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susan Jane, one son Thomas, three brothers Jesse Yoder, Enos Yoder and David T. Yoder, Jr., and a sister Amanda Yoder.

Raymond was a retired farmer, carpenter and owned and managed Liberty St. Bakery for 14 years. He was a supportive member at Northern Light Christian Fellowship Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A service will be held at the Northern Light Church, Allard Rd, Woodville, N.Y. at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, followed by calling hours from 10:30 to 11:30 am.

There will be calling hours at the Pleasant View Church, Belleville, Pa., on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Monday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. at the Pleasant View Church. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Belleville, Pa.
