Michael E. Bodley

Born on Jan. 14, 1972, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late David M. Bodley and Zora (Stackhouse) Bodley, who survives.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Ruth (Cunanan) Bodley; children, Zachary M. Bodley and wife, Shirley, Mikayla Bodley, both of Lewistown; grandson, Areli Bodley; siblings, Jennifer Oberlin and husband, Troy, of Beavertown; and Tehoni Oberlin.

Mike was a graduate of Lewistown Area High School, Class of 1991.

He was a member of Yeagertown Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Mike was a United States Air Force veteran. He served in the Air Force from 1997 to 2017, when he retired.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Reverend Carla Volland officiating.

Interment will take place at Mount Rock Cemetery at 11 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, with full military honors provided by Joint Base Andrews Honor Guard.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in honor of Mike. Donations may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization.
