Floyd L. Imes

Floyd L. “Lincoln” Imes, of Port Royal, passed away at 8:23 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026 at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born on Feb. 12, 1945 in Lewistown, Mifflin County he was the son of the late William Lloyd Imes and Teresa (Swartwood) Imes.

On Aug. 8, 1964, he married his surviving wife, Alice (Wetzel) Imes with whom he was blessed to share over 61 years of marriage.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: a daughter, Kathy Leoni and husband, Rocco, granddaughters, Rebecca and husband, Mack, Carmella and husband, Ray, great-grandchildren, Maverick, Massie and Myla and a baby on the way. He is also survived by son, Jeff Imes and wife, Lisa, grandchildren, Adam and Heather, great-grandsons Jyi, Remmington and Tucker, son, Doug Imes and wife, Rita, grandson, Waylon. Surviving siblings include Jack Imes and Ann Treaster. He was preceded in death by siblings, Bill, Paul, Herb, Raymond and Carl.

Floyd was a devoted employee at Darrow Excavating. He was a member of the New Beginnings Church, Port Royal. Lincoln enjoyed hunting, doing puzzles, and he also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026 from the New Beginnings Church, 2118 Spruce Hill Road, Port Royal with the Rev. Frank J. Swartz officiating.

A public viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Church. Interment will follow at McCoysville Cemetery.
