Doris I. Simonetti

Born April 13, 1938 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Blanche (Weiler) Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Annette Simonetti; her husband, Nickolas Simonetti; and brothers, Lewis, George, Clifford, Harold, and Robert Johnson.

She is survived by; children, Daniel N. Simonetti and wife, Debra, of Lewistown, Sherry Bardell and husband, Scott, of Millerstown; grandchildren, Amber Goss and husband, Doug, Amanda McCloskey and husband, Trey, Rachel Naylor and husband, Alan, Alysha Yeater and husband, Rich, Brandy Zendt and husband, Ryan; great-grandchildren, Aspen Goss, Aubrey Goss, Haden McCloskey, Alston McCloskey, Kolton Yeater, Blair Naylor, Eliza Naylor, Anna Zendt, Joslynn Zendt, Brooks Naylor.

Doris was a devoted member of Ellen Chapel Church. Throughout her earlier years, she was employed at several local businesses including Scottie’s Fashions, Brandy Wine, and Miller Theatre. She served as head cook at Derry Elementary School in Yeagertown and later worked as a hairdresser at Holiday Hair, where she retired in 2003.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
