Donna J. Sunday

She was born on April 29, 1940, in Lewistown, to the late Enoch W. and Elizabeth M. (Cavanaugh) Baker. On August 7, 1976, she married William L. Sunday, who preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 2013.

Surviving are children: Joseph A. Shafranich of Mifflintown, Rhoda Shafranich and spouse Lisa McCullough, of Lewistown, Rhonda E. Shafranich, of Baltimore, Maryland, Steven E. Shafranich of Lewistown, Susan M. E. Kauffman, of Strodes Mills, Andrew W. Shafranich and wife, Brenda of Mattawanna; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Baker and a brother, Jay Baker.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pearl Branstetter; grandson: Andrew Ray Shafranich; and a son-in-law: Steve Kauffman.

She was employed at Long’s Garage, Black Horse Tavern and Carol’s Pub, all in Reedsville.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Lewistown.

Donna loved music and organized the bands to come to Hogan’s. She enjoyed being in the outdoors.

Per her wishes, there will be no services.
