Wendy Jo Haines

Born Oct. 24, 1952 in Lewistown, Wendy was the daughter of the late Franklin L. and Rachael L. (Riden) Schrecengast.

In addition to her parents, Wendy was preceded in death by daughter, Heather J Wilson; son, Dwight F. Haines; and siblings, C. Dwight Schrecengast, Anita Y. (Schrecengast) Micale, and Dennis L. Schrecengast.

Wendy is survived by former husband, William G. Haines of Milroy; daughters Wendy J. (Schrecengast) Rosner of Lewistown and Rebecca A. (Haines) Newhart of Milroy; granddaughters, Rachael E. (Rosner) Lamey of Lewistown and Sarah A. (Rosner) Felker of Reedsville. Also surviving is a great-grandson, Liam J. Lamey of Lewistown.

During her life, Wendy had several factory jobs, worked in retail, and was a bartender at the Main Street Bar. Most importantly to her, she was a mother, grandmother and a great-grandmother. Family was always the first priority to her, secondly was animals (mostly dogs).

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026 at Calvary Bible Church in Burnham, 100 Cavalry Ln., Lewistown Pa 17044.
