Richard J. Paige

Born on Dec. 21, 1942 in York, PA he was the son of the late Ray Paige and Gladys (Dunn) Paige.

Surviving are his children, Rich Britcher and his wife, Helen, and Rhonda Meily, all of Port Royal, Kevin Paige, of Mifflintown, eight grandchildren, Jason Bargo, Brittany Newton, Lynn Paige Geedy, Derek Paige, Maggie Cisney, Logan Meily, Nick Britcher, Dawson Meily, and great-grandchildren, Camden Bargo, Ashlyn Bargo, Connor Newton, Weston Geedey, Adalee Geedey, Mason Cisney, Evelyn Cisney, Charlie Cisney, Oliver Cisney, Asher Meily, River Meily, Anya Egresites, and Stevie Britcher. He was preceded in death by a companion of 46 years, Brenda Mae Brown, a brother, Ray Paige and sister, Donnis Seiler.

Richard was an iron worker for Local Ironworkers Union 404. He was a member of Union Lodge No. 324 F& AM, Mifflintown. He enjoyed cutting firewood, riding motorcycles, going out to eat, traveling with Brenda, and working in his chainsaw shop. He loved camping and used to go all the time.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8: p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown. Interment is private and will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
