George S. Moyer Jr.

He was born Jan. 23, 1969 to the late George S. Moyer Sr. and Pamela (Harris) Moyer Smyers and husband, James, of Milroy. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelsey N. Moyer, on Oct. 17, 2025.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by siblings: Christopher Moyer and wife, Vita, of Madisonburg, Amy Aumiller and husband, Jon, of Milroy, a special nephew Doug, and two special nieces, Mikaela and Nora.

He was a 1986 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School and was a carpenter by trade, working mostly in the Harrisburg area.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting and would go on fishing trips with his brother and his special friends to New York and Michigan. He also enjoyed hunting on his grandfather’s farm in Juniata County. He loved his special cat, Moxie.

He was a former member of the American Legion in Milroy.

A viewing will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 6880 State Route 655, Reedsville, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. with Vicar Ruth Ann Kephart officiating.

Burial will be private at the Church Hill Cemetery.
