Lydia M. Peachey
Lydia M. Peachey, 92 years, nine months, 27 days old, of 239 Barrville Mountain Road, Reedsville, passed away of natural causes on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 23, 1932. She is survived by her children, Emanuel and wife, Mary of Cadiz, Ky., Nancy and husband Jacob of Reedsville, Martha and husband, Joseph of Allensville, Jesse and wife, Sylvia of Reedsville, Rachel and husband, Abner, Reuben and wife, Emma, Daniel and wife, Lydia, and Julia and husband, David, all of Belleville; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Annie and husband, Samuel of Rockville, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Peachey; a daughter-in-law, Katie L. Peachey; a sister, Nancy Swarey; brothers, Daniel J. Peachey and Jacob E. Peachey; and three granddaughters.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
A viewing will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025 at her residence, 239 Barrville Mountain Road, Reedsville. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025 at 9 a.m. at the residence of Jonas J. Peight, 281 Barrville Mountain Road, Reedsville. Burial will be held at the Green Lane Cemetery, Belleville.
