Calvin H. Piper

Born on Feb. 13, 1947, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Clair E. and Flo J. (Cherry) Piper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Burkholder; a son, Daniel Piper; a sister, Daryle (Piper) Adams; and brothers, Timothy and Edward Piper.

Calvin is survived by his devoted wife, Carol (Webster) Piper; his children, Candi Piper, of Lewistown, Jonathan Piper and wife Lisa, of North Chesterfield, Va., Chris Piper and wife, Erica, of Richmond, Va,, Jacob Piper and wife, Beth, of Stephens City, Va., and Jessica Piper, of Lewistown. He is also lovingly remembered by his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Calvin had a passion for the outdoors and found joy in hunting and cooking for those he loved. Above all, he cherished his faith in Jesus Christ and deeply loved his family, who brought him great pride and happiness throughout his life.

A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at Fairview Bible Church, 5290 Route 103 North, Lewistown, hosted by Pastor David Fultz.
