Barbara Hostetler Yoder

Born April 23, 1948, in Milroy, she was the daughter of the late Joel Z. Yoder and Dorothy (Hostetler) Yoder.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel R. Yoder, her son, John M. Yoder, one grandchild, three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her children, David R. Yoder and wife, Mattie, Thomas S. Yoder and wife Emma, Joel J. Yoder, and Elizabeth B. Speicher and husband, Noah; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and brother, David H. Yoder and wife, Elizabeth.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, at their home.

Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Burnham.
