George W. Hartung II

George was born on Aug. 8, 1947 in Cumberland, Md., to the late William Hartung Sr. and Hazel (Brotemarkle) Hartung. He was also preceded in death by a brother, William Hartung Jr. and wife, Judy.

George was a Navy Veteran, stationed at the Pentagon and Iceland. He retired from Atotech USA in Rock Hill, S.C., where he was manager of IT for North and South America and Canada. He attended Penn State and the Computer Learning Center of Virginia.

He leaves behind his wife, Barbara, son, Michael and wife, Allana, daughter, Angela and son-in-law, Terry; four grandchildren: Chase and Lucas Hartung and Avery and Amelia Snook.

George loved the good life as anyone who knew him was aware of. He was a World War II history buff. He was a fan of Penn State, Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.

He will be sadly missed by his family.
