Charles E. Wileman

Charles E. Wileman, 74, of Lewistown, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at home.
Born April 20, 1951, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Charles and Flo (Walls) Wileman.
He was raised by the late Anna Mae Hampton and husband Charles. Following the passing of Anna Mae and Charles, he was welcomed into the home of the late Larry Lynch and wife Gayle who survives, where he resided for more than 20 years. Embraced by Matthew Lynch and family, Marla Wright and family and the entire Lynch family as one of their own.
He was also preceded in death by siblings James Wileman, John Wileman, Floyd Wileman, Tammy Wileman, Doris Walter, and John Hampton.
He is survived by siblings, Rose Bowersox and Thomas Wileman of Hawstone, and Robert Wileman of McAlisterville.
Charles was a member of New Life Church and recently attended Calvary Bible Church. He was a member of Compass Community Connections and was employed at Skills where he had many friends and enjoyed the staff.
He loved camping, traveling, gospel music and loved sharing the love of Jesus with everyone he met. Charlie made friends near and far with his kind compassionate spirit. Charlie never said “good-bye,” but “See you later!!”
A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, at Windy Hill Bible Church, 22 Windmill Hill, Burnham with the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Reed officiating.
Interment will take place at Maitland Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles’ memory to Compass Community Connections, 31 S. Dorcas St, Lewistown.
