Kay A. Ross
Kay A. Ross, 75, of Belleville, passed away on Monday, Aug. 25, 2025, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
She was born on Feb. 10, 1950 in Lewistown, to the late David and Mary (Dalby) Smoker.
Surviving is her partner Chuck Zook, of Belleville; children: Robin Solt and husband, Fred, of McClure, William Ross, Jr., and significant other, Jen Arnold, of McClure, Adam Ross and wife, Jessica, of Burnham, five grandchildren: Courtney Leitzel, Johnathan Fultz, Ty Ross, Autumn Ross, Zane Ross, and seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pam Peachey and partner, Brad Schmidt, of Milroy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Smoker and a sister, Connie Fultz.
Kay graduated in 1968 from Kishacoquillas High School and worked as an aide for her nephew for the past 20 years.
She enjoyed playing bingo at the Burnham Fire Company. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and also visiting friends.
Per her wishes, there will be no services.
Burial will be private at the Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
