Donna Faye Samudio

Donna Faye Samudio, 82, formerly of Lewistown, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, at Dayspring of Miami Valley in Fairborn, O.H.
Born Aug. 15, 1942, in Belleville, she was the daughter of the late Enos and Charlotte (Lantz) Kauffman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Renee Richard, and her sister, Shirley Bulick.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Michael Samudio, children: Tara (Bratton) Kimmel and husband, Joseph, of Hooversville; Cory Bratton and wife, Michelle, of Lewistown; and Jeremy Bratton and wife, Kristen, of St. George, Utah. Also surviving are her siblings: Wanda Stuter, of McClure; Betty Yocum, of Lewistown; Merle Kauffman and wife, JoAnn, of Burnham; Kay Rupp, of Reedsville; Gwen Keith and husband, Jim, Cindy Yoder, and Dianne Taylor and husband, Scot, all of Granville; and Stanley Dudick, of Burnham. She was a proud grandmother to Taya, Natalie, and Kyra Kimmel, and Noah, Max, Luke, and Lincoln Bratton.
Donna was a devoted member of Paintersville C&MA Church, where she faithfully served as worship leader and joyfully volunteered in various church activities. Earlier in life, she enjoyed bowling, and throughout the years her greatest joy came from her family. She treasured holidays, delighted in celebrating “sister bashes” for her siblings’ birthdays, and created countless cherished memories with those she loved. A dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Nittany Lions, Donna approached life with enthusiasm and heart. She will be remembered as a loving, steadfast, and selfless mother whose children were her greatest blessing and life’s priority.
A funeral service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, at Paintersville C&MA Church, 3195 Back Maitland Road, Lewistown, with Rev. Bernard Carpenter officiating. A viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, at King Funeral Home and Crematory, 47 Carriage House Lane, Reedsville, as well as from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Paintersville C&MA Cemetery.
