Inka M. Moyer

Born on Jan. 19, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Fritz and Bertha Thalacker of Hamburg, Germany.

Inka is survived by her husband, Gerald “Butch” Moyer of 57 years; children, Sven Wohlers and wife, Hille, of Hamburg, Germany and Shana McClellan and companion, Brent, of Trevorton; grandchildren, Julia Wohlers and husband of Hamburg, Germany, Janina Wohlers and companion of Munic, Germany, Adrian Wise and companion, Matt, of McClure, Cole Lauver of Lewistown, and Laila Moyer of Paxtonville; and great-grandchildren, Blakley, Abigail, and Chloe of McClure.

Early in her life, she loved spending time with her cousins, Aunt Lilo, and Uncle Willie.

After coming to this country, she made her living in the sewing industry working at several sewing factories.

Her dogs, Elmo and Fritzy meant the world to her. She loved spending time outside, boating at Raystown Lake, shopping, and spending time with her dogs and family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Aug. 16, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Church in McClure.
