Eleanor C. Holesapple

Eleanor C. Holesapple, 79, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born June 11, 1946, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Leon Crisswell and Vivan (Stoner) Crisswell Johns.
She is survived by her sons, James T. Crisswell and wife, Angela, of McVeytown, Michael L. Holesapple, of Lewistown, Paul E. Holesapple and companion, Angela Snyder, of Jones, Okla.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Leona Marker, and James E. Crisswell and wife, Christine, both of Lewistown.
For 30 years, she served the Lewistown community with a warm smile and friendly demeanor as a server at Reds Diner. She later transitioned to a role as a maintenance worker at the Mifflin County courthouse, where she diligently served until her retirement in 2017.
Eleanor’s family was the cornerstone of her life. Her unwavering devotion to her sons is a testament to her profound love and enduring spirit.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 am, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Mike Bailey officiating.
Interment will be held at Juniata Memorial Park.
