Albert ‘Alby’ Allen Haubrick Jr.

Albert “Alby” Allen Haubrick Jr., 55, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025, at his home.

He was born on Sept. 13, 1969, in Lewistown, the son of the late Albert A. Haubrick Sr. and Stella ‘Peg’ Harlon, who resides in Lewistown with her husband, Bill.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Patricia (Kelley) Beers, Gladys (Kline) Haubrick; grandfather, Albert W. (Hontz) Haubrick; two uncles, George and Wilbur ‘Dink’ Haubrick.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his grandfather, Robert Beers, of Reedsville; a companion, Michelle Black, of New Bloomfield; children, Brittany Herzberg and companion, Jasen Fix, of Three Springs, Cody Haubrick, of Shirleysburg; two grandchildren, Addyson and Brady; siblings, David Haubrick and wife, Michelle, of McVeytown, Scott Brannon and companion, Carolyn Ross, of Lewistown, Daniel Brannon and wife, Angie, of Burnham, Holly Sweitzer, of Lewistown; step-brother, William ‘Willy’ Harlon and wife, Melissa, of Logan, Iowa; Cathy Moyer and husband, Jeff, who was more like a second mother, of Milroy; many aunts, uncles, and friends.

Alby dedicated nearly 30 years to Blue Mountain Hardwood Flooring, where he worked alongside Steve Poche, his wife Lisa, and their sons Nicholas and Nathan, all of whom became like a second family to him. He cherished riding his Can-Am side-by-side ‘buggy’ with family and friends and enjoyed spending time at the waterside campground in Lewistown, where he maintained a permanent site for 30 years.

A viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at 6 p.m., with Susan Mackneer officiating.

A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 7 pm, on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at Birch Hill event center.
