Donald Glenn Lewis

He was born on May 12, 1939 in Lewistown and remained a lifelong resident. He was the son of the late Samuel and Montie Lewis, in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen (Ferguson) Lewis, and his sister, Judy.

He is survived by dearly loved sons, Daniel and Todd Lewis, grandchildren, Shawna, Kyla, and Nakara, great-grandchildren, Madison, Halle, Brooklyn and Emerson, siblings, Elaine Bricker and husband Glen, son-in-law, Kurtis Swisher and wife Rhonda, and their children Colton and Courtney, and many nieces and nephews.

Don attended Lewistown High School. Earlier in life, he worked for Weis Markets, and The American Viscose. He later was employed at Washington National Insurance until his retirement.

He was a member of City Hook and Ladder, and The Brooklyn Fire Co. He was also a member at Lewistown Country Club. In his younger days, he enjoyed riding motorcycle with his sons. He was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steeler fan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday Aug. 24, 2024 at Centre Union Church, 200 Greenwood Ave., Yeagertown PA 17099.

All flowers will be provided by the families.

Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
