Amy Constance ‘Connie’ Yoder

Amy Constance “Connie” Yoder, 78, of Reedsville passed away on Tuesday, Oct 31, 2023, at her home.
Born Nov. 9, 1944 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Christine L. (Kearns) Calhoun.
Connie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Curtis O. Yoder, of Reedsville, her children, Carrie Miller and David Drayton, of Belleville, Allison Yoder and Stephen Rodgers, of Dallas, Texas, and Lt. Col. Andrew Yoder, Ret., of Spanish Fort, Ala., five grandchildren, twins, Zachery and Jameson Rodgers, of Dallas, Texas, and Dalton, Logan, and Peyton Yoder, all of Spanish Fort, Ala. Her beloved dog, Eddie, also survives.
Connie was employed as a dog groomer, and in her free time, she was an avid gardener, loving to tend to her garden that she was able to finish before her passing around the family dairy farm in Reedsville. She enjoyed making flower arrangements for loved ones and participating in flower shows. She was a passionate baker; and her family never went without having a piece of pie or cake. Connie traveled to Florida for the last 10 years with her husband, riding their Harley. She had a heart of gold, and was always there for those in need, taking care of her mother, her sister, and her son-in-law until their passing. She will be sadly missed by all.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King Funeral Home and Crematory, 47 Carriage House Lane, Reedsville PA 17084.
