Robert W. Mateer
Robert W. Mateer, 63, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, at his home.
Born on Sept. 9, 1960, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late James A. Mateer Sr. and Melba (Tutt) Mateer.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie E. Mateer, whom he married on Jan. 20, 2023; son, James A. Mateer, of Florida; siblings, James A. Mateer Jr. and wife, Juanita, Reedsville, Joyce Rae Roushia and husband, Scott, of North Carolina; and several loving nieces and nephews.
He was self-employed.
Robert liked to hunt wild pigs and alligators when he lived in Florida. He enjoyed singing, music, and mountain rides with friends and family.
