Ray L. Eby
Ray L. Eby, 71, of Lewistown, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, at William Penn after a brief illness. Born Jan. 20, 1952, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Blanche Eby.
Ray is survived by his wife, Joyce (Laird) Eby; son, Michael Eby and wife, Tammy of Lewisburg; grandson, Aiden Eby; step-daughter, Kathy Roberts of Fla; stepson, Bradley Fultz of Lewistown; step-granddaughter, Ashley Stoner, and step-grandson Joshua Fultz; joy to his life, great granddaughter, Wren Stoner; brother, Stanley Eby and wife, Irene of Belleville, and brother-in-law, Ron Ritchey of Longfellow.
In addition to his mother, Ray is preceded in death by brother, Boyd Eby and sister, Uretha Jean Ritchey.
Ray graduated from Penn Highlands-Kish School in 1971. He retired in 2011 after many years as a mechanic and a truck driver. He loved spending time with his wife, going to car shows and traveling together. Spending time with his family, when he could, was important to him.
Per his wishes, there will be no viewing or services. King-Barr Funeral Home LLC is in charge of arrangements.
