Mary L. (Hill) Iannone
Mary L. (Hill) Iannone, 71, of Lewistown, was called to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, and is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus. Born on Dec. 20, 1951 in Wilmington, Delaware, she was a daughter of the late Joan (Lewis) and Paul Brunk Sr. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her sisters, Linda and Lorraine.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Rebecca L. Taylor and husband, Brian; sons, Ronald Iannone, Jr. and Paul Iannone and wife, Heather; six grandchildren, Ashley Alexander and husband, Nick of Spotslyvania, Va., Riley Taylor of Lewistown, Tristin Iannone and wife, Rachel of Norfolk, Va., Brooke Kerstetter and husband, RJ of Lewistown, Dallas Iannone of Lewistown and Shane Dippery of Lewistown; great-grandson, Kyden Kerstetter; siblings, Paul Jr., Paula, Joy, and Cindy, and many friends. Mary was also blessed with two dear friends, Sally and Leigh.
For many years, Mary worked for the Lewistown Sentinel and was known as the “Honeysuckle” of the mailroom. She was a coffee connoisseur and loved to play 500 Rummy. She was an avid HGTV watcher and loved riding around to gaze at houses, especially during Christmas time. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Mary especially loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Services will be intimate and private and held at the convenience of the family. Mary will be laid to rest at Juniata Memorial Park. King-Barr Funeral Home LLC is in charge of arrangements.
