Eleanor P. Gilbert
Eleanor P. Gilbert, 95, of Valley View Haven, Belleville, passed away Oct. 18, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband, Glenn B. Gilbert in 2014, and her son, Bruce Gilbert.
Surviving are: daughter, Joyce G. Picketts (Michael), of Reedsville; grandsons, Adam Picketts (Lauren), of Easton, Pa., and Drew Picketts, of Reedsville. Her great-grandbaby, Lois Picketts, of Easton, brought her so much joy. The youngest of ten children, David Paul, of Coraopolis, Pa., is Eleanor’s only surviving sibling.
Pitt vs. Penn State football games energized the family as Eleanor was a Pitt graduate and Glenn graduated from PSU.
The family is grateful for the compassionate care that Mom received at Valley View.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
