Kenneth Charles Geist Sr.
Kenneth Charles Geist Sr., 70, of Lewistown, passed away at 2:05 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born June 26, 1953, in Roaring Springs, Blair County, he was a son of the late Kenneth O. and Orpha (Helsel) Geist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Sandy Geist.
Kenneth is survived by: wife, Jean (Johnson) Geist; five children, Michele Norris and fiance, Rodney Wagner, of McClure, Christy Pietrolungo, of Pittsburgh, Karen Pietrolungo, of Colorado, Rick Pietrolungo, of West Virginia, and Kenneth Geist Jr., of Milton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Wanda Geist, William Geist and wife, Susan, Randy Geist and wife, Barbara, and Candy Geist, all of Altoona.
He was a graduate of Altoona High School, Class of 1972.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was a truck driver, and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a mail processor.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
