Fayetta J. (Sloyer) Skillman
Fayetta J. (Sloyer) Skillman, 74, of Lewistown, went home to be with the Lord on Wed. Sept. 13, 2023. She died peacefully at home.
She was preceded in death by; husband, Robin H. Skillman, of Lewistown in 2015; son, Steven T. Sloyer in 2020; and granddaughter, Stephanie M. Rhodes in 2021. Also, siblings, Frederick Frame, Donald Frame, Robert Sloyer, and Emma Beard.
Faye is survived by; daughters, Monnielynn Rhodes, Jessie E. Rhodes; and son, Keith Rhodes and wife, Sandy, all of Lewistown.
She attended church while she could, and then became a media member of the Jimmy Swaggart ministries and she loved gospel music.
In her earlier years, she worked as a nursing assistant at Ohesson Manor, where she retired after 15 years.
Some of her hobbies and interests were family get togethers, cooking for the family, playing cards, especially pinochle, fishing, and crocheting. She was a long time Nascar fan and loved going to yard sales.
A viewing will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Mon., Sept. 18, 2023, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, PA 17044,
