Ann H. Smith

Born Oct. 29, 1934 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Caterina (Battista) Simonetti. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Smith, her son, Jeffrey Smith, and siblings, Nicholas Simonetti, Virginia Henry, Anthony Simonetti, and Grace Thomas.

Ann is survived by her children, Michael Smith and companion, Schae Baumgardner, of Lewistown, and Leo Smith and wife, Michele, of Burnham, siblings, Ange Lindsey, of Connecticut, Catherine Royer and husband, Ronald, of Lewistown, and Judy Peters and husband, Robert, of Strodes Mills, grandchildren, Cherie Hannon, LeighAnn Strohecker, Nathan Smith, Dion Smith, and Christianna Smith, great-grandchildren, Drew, Gage, Drew, Karsyn, Aubrey, Evan, Jaxon, Adelynn, Carter, Nolan, Julianna, Annaleah, and Summer, and great-great grandchildren, AnnaMae, and Jameson.

She was employed at Avtex Fibers as a production employee for 29 years, retiring in 1996.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewistown.

The thing that brought her the most joy in her life was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. We will never forget you.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 106 N Dorcas Street, Lewistown, with Father William Weary officiating.

Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.

Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
