Thelma Marie Yocum

Born on May 22, 1927 in Huntingdon, she was a daughter of the late Wayne C. Isenberg and Edna M. (Gahagan) Isenberg Neiman. Thelma was a former employee at Arrow Shirt Factory and American Viscose Corporation. She was a member at Ellen Chapel Church and a former member of the Lewistown Moose Lodge 143 for many years. She enjoyed knitting, reading, baking, and doing puzzles. Earlier in life, Thelma made the most beautiful wedding cakes. She also had a collection of over 600 bells.

Thelma is survived by her children, Joy L. Stephens and companion, Ken Griffith of Centre Hall, Charles W. Yocum of Lewistown, Ruth A. Noland of Lewistown, and Darryl “Bud” Houck of Huntingdon; grandchildren, Tina Aumiller and husband, James, Tony Noland and wife, Carol, Paula Berrier and husband, David, and Alaina Kreydatus and husband, Mike; great grandchildren, Anthony Noland, Kennadi Bauman, Layla Folk, Jimmy Aumiller, Maisie Aumiller, Carly Berrier, Madison Berrier, and William Kreydatus; great-great grandchildren, Kash Hershberger, Kendall Noland, and Grace Noland, and brother, Gary Neiman and wife, Judy. In addition to her husband and parents, Thelma is preceded in death by sons-in-law, William N. Noland and William Stephens, and siblings, Robert, Tommy, and Rosie Neiman.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023 at King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan St. Lewistown. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Reverend James Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Juniata Memorial Park.
