James A. Reed Sr.

He was born March 23, 1943, in Lewistown, a son of the late John A. and Mildred F. (Cockrill) Reed.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Seidl), daughter, Jill A., son, Jason A., daughter in law, Jennifer, grandson, Jackson, and siblings, John and Jeff Reed and Jodi Shimp, all of Lewistown. He was preceded in death by son, James A., Jr. and a granddaughter, Jolee A.

Friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 7, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellwood . A funeral Mass will be held at 10a.m. Monday at the church. Committal at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
