Solomon E. (Sollie) Hostetler
Solomon E. (Sollie) Hostetler, 70, passed away at 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. He had been residing at Embassy of Hearthside in State College.
He was born on Oct. 5, 1952, in Belleville. He was the son of the late Daniel and Leah (Peachey) Hostetler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Fannie, and sister-in-law, Hettie K. Hostetler.
Surviving are: siblings, Ada Peachey and husband, Ezra E., of Ovid, NY, Joe Hostetler and wife, Nancy, John Hostetler and wife, Susie, Rachel Zook and husband, Urie, and Kore Hostetler, all of Belleville, Olive Weaver and husband, Roy, of Mifflintown.
Solomon was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
His funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Josiah H. Peachey residence, 251 Garver Road, Belleville, PA, with the home ministers officiating. Burial will take place at Green Lane Cemetery. His family will receive friends anytime after 1 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023, also at the Josiah H. Peachey residence.
