Michael R. Rose

Born on Jan. 3, 1953, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Pearl A. (Pennington) and Russell I. Rose, Sr. For 45 years, Mike worked as a crane operator at Standard Steel before retiring in 2016. During his free time, you could find Mike fishing or hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and frequently visited his grandchildren in North Carolina after retiring.

Mike is survived by his wife, Brenda; children, Kimbra L. Riden and husband, Brian K., and Kristie L. Curry and husband, Christian; step-sons, Jason R. Fultz and wife, Debbie, and Scott M. Fultz and significant other, Becky; grandchildren, Brittany, Dakota, Kelly, Becca, and the apples of his eye, Ryder and Easton and grand dog, Dash; great grandchild, Ryker, and sister, Sandra Grove. In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his brother, Russell I. Rose, Jr.

All services will be private. King-Barr Funeral Home LLC is in charge of arrangements.
