Dennis K. Olson

Born on Sept. 6, 1943, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Walter and Lillian (Searer) Olson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Greta A. (Smith) Olson, and a brother, Larry Olson.

He is survived by wife, Betsy (Shimp) Olson, son, Scott Olson and wife, Christina, of Reedsville, step-children, Brett Bagrosky and wife, Chrissy, of Lewistown, Chad Bagrosky and wife, Kristy, of Lewistown, Mark Bagrosky and wife, Andrea, of Lewistown, grandchildren, Michelle Fultz and husband, Dillon, Megan Olson, Shaelyn Bagrosky, Jace Bagrosky, Sawyer Bagrosky, Wyatt Bagrosky, Maddux Bagrosky, siblings, Walter ‘Bud’ Olson and wife, Kay, of Lewistown, Susan McElhenny, of Lewistown.

Dennis was a Lewistown High School graduate.

Earlier in life, he worked at Clasters and Allensville Planning Mill in Allensville, where he later retired.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 14, 2023, at Juniata Memorial Park, with Pastor Mike Bailey officiating.

Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dennis’s memory to: One Dog at A Time, 225 Meadow Woods Dr., Lewistown, PA 17044.

Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
