William J. “Bill” Goodman

Born December 11, 1934 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late William Kenneth and Ruth Naomi (Stover) Goodman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, A. Phyllis (Renninger) Goodman.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Michelle Goodman, of Pensacola, FL, and siblings, Mary Jane Reed, of Lancaster, and James Goodman and wife Terri, of Johnstown.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, and a United States Navy Veteran.

Bill worked as an accountant most of his life, retiring from Holler Chevrolet in Florida after many years of service. He moved to Pensacola in 2013 to be with his daughter, during that time, he volunteered at the National Naval Aviation Museum. He was a car enthusiast, enjoyed going to the beach, reading, watching his Penn State Nittany Lions, and most of all, his family that meant so much to him.

A graveside service in loving memory of Bill will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday June 8, 2023 at Mattawana Cemetery, with Rev. Stephanie Rupert officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
