Timothy L. Shade

Born on April 7, 1945, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Lewis A. and Evelyn M. (Sulouff) Shade.

He is survived by; siblings, Thomas A. Shade and wife, Joan, of Pleasant Gap, and Anthony P. Shade and wife, Ginger, of Lewistown; nieces and nephews, Marie Carlson and husband, Joseph, Brian Shade and wife, Jeannine, Todd Shade and wife, Tracy, Beth Ann Rowles and husband, Matthew; six great-nieces and great-nephews; one great-great-niece; one great-great-nephew.

Timothy was a member of Ellen Chapel Church, and a member of Fort Granville Grange.

He was a graduate of Chief Logan High School, Class of 1964.

Timothy worked for Big Valley Feed & Grain where he later retired. He was also a farm hand for his uncle Joseph Shade.

Earlier in life, he enjoyed his horses. He enjoyed being outside in his vegetable garden, and wood working.

A viewing will be held from 10:30 – 11 a.m., Friday, June 23, 2023, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Mark Hill officiating.

Interment will take place at Birch Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ellen Chapel Church, 11798 Ferguson Valley Road, Lewistown, PA 17044.
