Mary Ann Molek

Born Oct. 16, 1935, in Milroy, she was a daughter of the late Emanuel Thompson and Elizabeth Pauline (Bulick) Mitchell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by; her husband, Thomas A. Molek Sr.; a grandson, Joshua Shepherd; two brothers; two sisters; and a son-in-law, Andrew Shoop.

She is survived by; children, Thomas A. Molek Jr. and wife, Linda, of Lewistown, Antoinette Shepherd, and husband, Doug, of Lewistown, Steven Molek and companion, Tammy, of Lewistown, Jeffrey Molek, of Lewistown, and Beth Shoop and fiancÈ, Travis, of Reedsville; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mary Ann attended Lewistown High School.

Mary Ann was a homemaker, and she held various jobs at Lewistown Hospital, Lewistown Sports Wear, S&H Green Stamp Store and the bakery at Weis Markets.

She loved her family and enjoyed cooking meals when they would get together. She enjoyed going for lunches with friends from high school and going to breakfasts with friends from Weis Markets. She liked going to the beach and playing cards.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m., to noon, Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with a funeral service to follow at noon.

Interment will take place at Birch Hill Cemetery.
