Margaret J. Kephart

Born January 8, 1939 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Marle and Esther (Rothrock) Smith.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Kephart, Sr., whom she married on September 25, 1960; children, Melissa McTavish and husband Barry, of Lebanon, Betty Farleman and husband Terry, of Lewistown, and Steven Kephart, of Lewistown; brothers, John Smith and wife Joan, of Lewistown, and James Smith, of Mifflintown; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Stanley Kephart, Jr., and her brother, Albert Smith.

She was employed at William Penn Nursing Home for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, plastic canvas, and her dogs and cats.

A graveside service in loving memory of Margaret will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at Juniata Memorial Park, with Major Janet Clark officiating
