Troy N. Stimely

Born Nov. 20, 1972, in Lewistown, he was a son of Laura Inaze (Varner) Stimely, of McVeytown, and the late Gene H. Stimely. His companion, Jaime R. Harshbarger, survives at their home.

Also surviving are: four children, Kyler J. Bingaman and wife, Catherine, of McVeytown, Cole G. Stimely of Mt. Union, Jaylena M. Schmidt, of McVeytown, Taylor P. Harshbarger, of McVeytown; four siblings, Melvin Varner and wife, Sharon, of McVeytown, Crist Stimely and wife, Suzanne, of McVeytown, Marie French and husband, Kevin, of Mattawana, Mary Dietz and husband, Mike, of Mattawana; six grandchildren, Allison, Tanner, Rhys, Kason, Adalyn, Leah; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Troy was a self-employed farmer and enjoyed owning and operating Stimely Excavating in Ryde.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Ryde Cemetery with Mr. Bradley “Doc” Kauffman officiating.
