Barry L. Crosson
Barry L. Crosson, 80, of Milroy, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Beverly Ann (Rairdan) Crosson for 55 years.
Born on April 14, 1943, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Paul E. Crosson and Helen L. (Miller) Grassmyer. In 1961, Barry graduated from Chief Logan High School. He went on to join the U.S. Air Force in 1962 and was honorably discharged in 1966. He became a Pennsylvania State Trooper in 1967 and retired after 10 years of service. Barry was a member of Moose Lodge No. 143, Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Burnham, American Legion, and VFW Post 7011. During his free time, Barry enjoyed hunting, cheering on Penn State and the Steelers, and watching NASCAR.
In addition to his wife, Barry is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Kauffman; granddaughter, Ashley Crosson; siblings, Bonnie Harshbarger, Linda Hopper, and Jesse Moser, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the American Legion, 6099 Old US Highway 322, Milroy.
