Ian P. Baxter
Ian P. Baxter, 50, passed away at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023. Born April 4, 1972 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late William T. and Frieda M. (Shunkweller) Baxter.
Ian is survived by his siblings, Elizabeth Marsh and husband, Gregory, Douglas Baxter and wife, Sherry, Matthew Baxter and wife, Mel, Dawn Rudy and husband, Keith, and Melissa Baxter, along with many nieces and nephews.
In 1991, Ian graduated from Indian Valley High School. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards and football paraphernalia. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Steelers.
His family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Supportive Concepts in Lebanon for the care they provided and their support through this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023 at King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown. Officiating will be Pastor Richard Williams.
A visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon, prior to the service. Burial will take place at Lind Memorial Cemetery.
