Pennsylvania State Police at Newport said a 2026 Honda CR-V was traveling in the left lane near mile marker 214 at about 7:36 a.m. and attempted to enter the right lane when it struck the driver’s side of a 2023 Ford F-250 SuperCab. From staff reports BOGGS TOWNSHIP — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has placed a radar-controlled speed display board along Route 144 in Boggs Township, Centre County, to remind motorists to obey the posted speed limit. The board faces southbound traffic between Governor’s Road and Doe Ridge Lane, about 4¼ miles south of Snow Shoe Borough. The speed limit in the area is 55 mph. In the past decade, government grants to nonprofits and the number of nonprofits that receive tax money has doubled, raising questions about whether public money is being wasted, an investigation by The Center Square found. In 2016, federal, state and local governments gave $149.5 billion in grants to about 56,000 nonprofits registered with the IRS, an analysis of nonprofit tax returns shows.
