TOKYO (AP) — Two major storm systems pounded Japan on Saturday, causing landslides and floods and leaving one dead and several injured, media and officials said. The storms, Mekkhala and Higos, have dumped heavy rain and damaged roads as Japan experiences its annual rainy season. MCVEYTOWN — As summer settles into the Juniata Valley and local gardens reach their fullest stretch of green, the next Garden to Table outdoor workshop will give residents a chance to see firsthand what “peak season” really looks like. President Donald Trump’s economic approval has fallen further than his overall job approval, a reversal from the economic strength that got him elected, a new national poll finds.
