MIDDLEBURG — A juvenile faces manslaughter and other charges in Snyder County for a shooting incident that occurred July 28 in West Perry Township, which led to the death of another individual. The Associated Press Pennsylvania is contacting 375,000 holders of commercial driver’s licenses in a recruitment campaign meant to ease a severe shortage of school bus drivers, officials said Thursday. HARRISBURG (AP) — Pennsylvania’s Republican-controlled Legislature voted Wednesday to again extend hundreds of regulatory waivers that Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration had approved under its pandemic-related disaster emergency authority. Allegheny County government workers face vaccine mandate

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Allegheny County government employees will be required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination by Dec. 1 or face termination under a policy announced Wednesday by the western Pennsylvania county’s top elected official. About 5,000 employees are subject to the new mandate, of whom more than 75% are already vaccinated. NORRISTOWN (AP) — A man has been convicted of first-degree murder in the stabbing death of an ex-girlfriend in the parking lot of a suburban Philadelphia train station last year.
