From staff reports BELLEFONTE — Motorists traveling Interstate 80 through Centre County should expect lane restrictions beginning Monday as contractors begin paving work tied to one project and prepare for a new traffic pattern for another. PennDOT said the first restriction will begin Monday, when the contractor for the Interstate 80/Interstate 99 high-speed interchange project closes the left lane of I-80 westbound between mile markers 161 and 158 for paving work. Police detail chain-reaction crash that killed 21-year-old

McVETYTOWN — Pennsylvania State Police have released additional details about a three-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 21-year-old Cambria County man early Monday on U.S. Highway 522 South in Wayne Township. According to state police, the crash occurred at about 1:45 a.m. July 20 near 2103 U.S. Highway 522 South when a Ford Expedition driven by Robert E. LEWISTOWN — Cody Wian was elected vice president of the Mifflin County School District’s Board of Directors by an 8-0 vote Thursday as directors completed a leadership change and approved several personnel, food service and student support items.
