Paving work closes Lewistown roads through Friday

LEWISTOWN — Motorists are being asked to avoid portions of Lehigh Alley and Susquehanna Avenue this week as the Borough of Lewistown completes milling and paving work. Lehigh Alley will be closed between Wilson Avenue and West Charles Street, while Susquehanna Avenue will be closed from Grand Parkway North to the corner entrance of Mitchell Field. Milling work is scheduled to continue Tuesday, with paving planned Wednesday through Friday. Latin Festival to kick off month of cultural celebrations

STATE COLLEGE — The Happy Valley Latin Festival will return to downtown State College next month, kicking off a month of events celebrating Hispanic and Latin American culture throughout the region.
