AG warns of MyChart ‘Medicare Kit’ phishing scam

HARRISBURG — Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday is warning residents about a phishing scam targeting users of MyChart, an online patient portal used by hospitals and other health care providers. According to the Attorney General’s Office, scammers are impersonating MyChart in emails and text messages offering recipients a chance to claim a “MyChart Medicare Kit.” No such program or reward exists. Little League World Series brings estimated $40M to Pennsylvania

WILLIAMSPORT — The 2026 Little League Baseball World Series is expected to generate an estimated $40 million for Pennsylvania’s economy as tens of thousands of players, coaches and fans converge on Williamsport. PennDOT schedules road work in Mifflin, Juniata counties

LEWISTOWN — Motorists can expect lane restrictions on several Mifflin County roads during the week of Aug. 31 as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation conducts bridge, shoulder and drainage maintenance, while projects in Juniata County will include bridge work, roadway sealing and pipe maintenance. Mifflin County Library closed for Labor Day

LEWISTOWN — All branches of Mifflin County Library will be closed for Labor Day on Saturday, Sept. 5 and Monday, Sept. 7. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Library book drops are open 24 hours.
