Pedestrian air lifted after falling through bridge

LEWISTOWN — Emergency responders were dispatched to East Walnut Street at about 3 p.m. Tuesday when a pedestrian fell through the train bridge and into Kishaquillas Creek below.
City Hook and Ladder fire company reported that the pedestrian was airlifted for treatment of traumatic injuries.
Emergency officials said a rope haul system was assembled and secured and that the patient was extricated with a stokes basket.
