Man charged after vehicle crash
McALISTERVILLE — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a vehicle crash on Saturday, Feb. 28 around 1 p.m. on shade Road, Fermanagh Township.
The report states that Lucas Fultz, 42, of Mifflintown, was traveling north in the area of the 500 block of Shade Road when he left the right side of the roadway and impacted with a utility pole guide wire. Following this impact the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze rode up the wire and overturned before coming to final rest on the road.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Fultz was wearing his seat belt and reported no injuries. Fultz was cited through Magisterial District Judge Tracy Powell.
Mifflintown woman faces DUI charges
MIFFLINTOWN — On Sunday, Jan. 25, Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a two vehicle crash around 6 a.m. resulting in one female being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to the report Deidre Hockenberry, 22, of Mifflintown, was driving a 2013 Chrysler on William Penn Highway, Fermanagh township at the time of the crash.
The report also states that a 19-year-old man operating a PennDOT vehicle was the victim of this accident.
New York woman cited in crash
MIFFLIN — On Saturday, Feb. 7 around 2 a.m. Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to the scene of a vehicle crash on Route 35 south near Swartz Hollow Lane, Beale Township.
According to the report the driver of a 2016 BMW, Brandon Astorga, 29, of Brooklyn, N.Y., lost control due to snow covered roadways and failing to drive at a safe speed. Astorga was cited in the crash.
