Lewistown woman jailed on drug delivery charges
Police allege sales of cocaine, methamphetamine to confidential informant
LEWISTOWN — A 28-year-old Lewistown woman is in jail after police said she sold cocaine and methamphetamine to a confidential informant during an undercover investigation.
Matahia Danae Clark was arraigned Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge Craig Weston on multiple charges, including three felony counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and three felony counts of criminal use of a communication facility. She also faces three misdemeanor counts each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Pennsylvania State Police, an undercover investigation into Clark began in April 2025. Police said a confidential informant arranged drug purchases at a residence in Lewistown Borough, where three controlled buys were conducted.
Authorities said the substances obtained during the investigation were sent to the Harrisburg Regional Laboratory for analysis on Aug. 15, 2025. In September, police received results indicating that 4.48 grams tested positive for cocaine and 1.25 grams tested positive for methamphetamine.
Clark is being held at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility after failing to post $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. April 1.
