No injuries reported in area crash
THOMPSONTOWN — Officers from Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to Goodville Road at its intersection with Route 333 Delaware Township on Sunday, Feb. 1, around 6 p.m. for a one-vehicle crash.
The report states that Malinda Miller, 47, of Thompsontown, was traveling west on Goodville Road in a 2000 Chevrolet Trailblazer when she lost her brakes and was unable to stop at a stop sign. Proceeding through Miller went through the intersection onto state Route 333 leaving the road on the left side Miller’s vehicle overturned and was disabled from the crash.
Miller was wearing her seatbelt and had no injuries to report.
Teen faces harassment charges
EAST WATERFORD — On Thursday, Feb. 5, Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown investigated a harassment-type incident that took place on Campbell Hollow Road, Lack Township.
Once on scene, officers determined that a 17-year-old East Waterford man subjected a 67-year-old man and a 78-year-old female, both of East Waterford, to unwanted physical contact. The report states that the teen was cited accordingly.
Crash totals two vehicles
MIFFLINTOWN — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown charged a Mifflin woman after a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at around 3 p.m.
According to a report, officers responded to William Penn Highway in Fermanagh Township and located a 2015 Subaru Forester operated by Kimberly Allen, 40, of Mifflin.
Allen told officers she fell asleep while traveling east on William Penn Highway.
The report states that her vehicle crossed the center line of the roadway leaving the road on the left side where it contacted another vehicle that was illegally parked at the 3 o’clock position. The vehicle was a 2015 Ford Escape which ricocheted and struck another illegally parked vehicle, a 2023 Toyota Highlander.
Both the driver and her passenger were wearing their seatbelt and were not injured. The Forrester and Escape were disabled from the crash.
